Community Development Project – Davao, Philippines

Davao City is located in the southern part of the Philippines. For the past 3 years,
our program partners in Davao City have focused on caring for the needs of people living
in small communities throughout the Mindanoa Island. Their work is primarily in the area
of medical support and community education.
Our partners are currently working on a training center. The land has been donated, and
work is being done to remodel, rebuild and expand the tutoring center, the computer lab
and the sewing center.
Current Needs:
- $1,300 to set up a computer lab in the training center for children and adults.
- $1,500 is needed to build a medical unit.
- $5,000 is needed to build a sea wall to protect the village from flooding.
