Arms Of Love Children’s Home

AOL’s purpose is to provide protection services for at-risk children. AOL inspires hope and helps children achieve their full potential by providing quality family-based residential care.

Recent Highlights

  • Through its residential care program, AOL is the caretaker for 26+ abandoned, abused, neglected, or disadvantaged children. It provided safety, education, health and wellbeing, including nutrition, clothing and grooming.
  • Through its community care program, AOL provided educational support to 10 college students, and vocational-technical support to five young adults. Working with local organizations, AOL conducted feeding programs for 55 children.

  • Taught values formation to 30 kindergarten pupils and 30 moms.

  • Fed 50 malnourished kids for six months, three times a week.
  • Fed 140 kids, 48 moms, nine workers, one school principal and one teacher through a 2014 Christmas Party.

KI Nepal envisions of a society free from human trafficking and violence against women & children, while supporting changes to the poor economic, social and educational status faced by at-risk women and girls.

Pokhara Child Care Center

Location: Pokhara, Nepal

Pokhara Child Care Center’s vision is to show love and mercy to the poor, needy, incapable and risky children in Nepal, rescue them, provide relief and protection, and establish them in the community.

2014 Highlights

  • Provided education for 45 kids.
  • Feeding program (789 kids). Fed 29 children five days a week for one year; Fed 20 street kids one day per week; Fed 30-40 slum kids one day per week; Fed 200 slum, street and preschool kids a year in picnic program; Fed 550 kids once during our Christmas program.
  • Clothing (109 kids). Provided 30 blankets and 65 warm jackets for street kids and widows; Provided school uniforms for 15 slum kids and 29 hats for preschool kids.
  • Christmas (550 kids). Provided Christmas gifts for 550 kids.
  • Trained seven street boys in job skill (taxi driving).

Seed Of Love brings love and hope to sick and less fortunate children, and their families, through Primary Health Care Services. Staff members visit children and families in the hospital, provide nutrition, and supply medicine and resources to help in their recovery.
