Through the work of Extreme Response, thousands of people living in extreme situations are experiencing significant life change. With programs and partners in nine countries, ER provides endless opportunities to get involved in life-changing work with vulnerable people. Here are a few of those opportunities:
Become a short-term field volunteer with us at one of our locations in South America, Africa or Asia. We especially need help in the South Africa Dream Centre and Quito After-School program.
Donate monthly to the Dream Centre Scholarship Fund to cover the costs for a South African child to attend and stay in school.
Provide school packs for vulnerable children who might drop out of school for the lack of a uniform or supplies.
Join an ER Christmas Outreach Team to bring hope to the hopeless in the Philippines, Ecuador or South Africa.
Engage with our Women’s Empowerment initiative to help us provide education, counseling, intervention, nourishment, medical support, and job training for at-risk women.
Join our team as a Career Worker to use your skills for one year ormore to help the poor and vulnerable.
Donate tools for our Men’s Skills Group in Quito, Ecuador so these recyclers can earn money for their families.
Become a coach in our Leadership Community to encourage and inspire developing leaders.
Collect hygiene items and toys for kids for our Christmas Parties.
Donate $20/month to provide a Quito Dump Community Kid with lunch for a full month.
