Disaster Response

Extreme Response responds to disasters that take place within the areas where we have staff or partners. While we occasionally find ourselves supporting first responders, we have found our best impact takes place in the days and weeks following a disaster.

This often means we bring food, water, blankets, fuel, clothing, diapers, solar lights, tools and other emergency supplies to severely damaged communities in order to help people cope with overwhelming conditions.

In recent years, ER has been able to offer disaster response through our staff, volunteers and donors, or through our partners on the ground, in the following disasters.

Haiti Earthquake - 2010

Philippines Cyclone - 2013

Quito Dump Shutdown - 2015

Nepal Earthquake - 2015

Ecuador Earthquake - 2016

Haiti Hurricane - 2016

NAPACOR Community Fire (Manila) - 2017
