Following months of strategic planning and brainstorming, we are pleased to share new design elements that enhance our purpose, visual look and feel. This fresh look is exemplified by a new logo design, a new eNewsletter template and new content.
As represented in our new logo and its variations, we are placing greater focus on helping those we serve move from a place of no hope to a future filled with hope. The statement, “building pathways of hope” expresses this goal. Notice the orange path in the middle of the logo. And while we’re still “Extreme Response International”, you’ll see us refer to ourselves as simply “ER International” more frequently.
Pathways of Hope: Intrinsic in Our Programs
“The idea behind ‘building pathways of hope’ is to capture the essence of what ER provides through our programs and projects, as well as the opportunity it presents to the people we are helping escape generational poverty,” said ER president and CEO Jerry Carnill. “Our three pillars of Education Reinforcement, Life Skills & Livelihood and Leadership Development all align under this banner.
“For example, when children enroll in one of our Dream Centers, they are taking their first steps away from poverty and despair and toward education and sustainability. When a woman participates in our eight-month Golden Hands Livelihood sewing course, she is taking big strides on the pathway to self-confidence and income generation. And when an emerging leader completes Leader Mundial training, he or she has gained skills that enable them to better lead organizations that brings hope to their community.
“Hope is at the heart of our approach,” Jerry added. “As we help people learn skills, improve self-esteem, earn income or uncover God’s purpose for their lives, they are filled with abundant hope.”
